I was born in Germany, though raised in Spain, and had a pretty normal childhood. I bought my first computer, a Commodore Amiga 500 when I was 10 years old. Computers and gadgets have been my passion ever since!
I moved to London in 2004 and enrolled on a Digital Media degree in 2005. While I was studying, I started doing small web design jobs for friends and family and also myself. From then on, it became an ongoing passion. My studies also helped to get a good insight in different media, such as video and print, and authoring packages, such as Director, InDesign, Illustrator, InDesign, FinalCut Pro, Maya, and many others.
During my studies, I worked at a London Music School for a couple of years until I decided to go down the freelancing route.
This decision wasn’t too fortunate at the time, because by then I wasn’t very good with time-management and, more importantly, it didn’t give me the opportunity to work in a challenging environment.
Luckily I landed on a great job at a flatshare website called EasyRoommate, where I started as a Junior Developer. I was lucky enough to participate on very interesting projects (which can be accessed on my portfolio). I also got to travel to New York and visit their headquarters, and more importantly, gain a great set of skills that have proved to be very useful in further projects.
After a year in the company I managed to become a middleweight Web Developer/Designer and now, after a year and a half, I decided to look for new challenges and further develop my skills. I am currently working as a web developer at Global Radio
Occasionally, when I have some spare time, I write on my blog, do a bit of photography, write on twitter, do video projections. A the moment I’m working on a couple of “top secret” projects (at least for now) which I’ll keep you updated in the near future.
Great articles & Nice a site….
